Electrochemical Sensor

 To date, various techniques have been proposed for target material detection, including spectrometry, chemiluminescence, fluorescence and electrochemistry, etc. Among which, the electrochemical detection has attracted more attention because of numerous merits such as simple construction, ease of operation, low cost, and limit detection. The electrochemical sensor is a kind of sensor which is made up of electrochemical deposition to bind with the affinitive materials (aptamer, peptide, enzyme, non-enzyme) or use electrochemical analysis to confirm the determination of target material.
Advanced Polymeric Material Laboratory focuses on the followings;

 - Design and Fabrication of nanostructured electrode based on polymer, metal oxide, and nano-carbon
 - Immobilization of Affinitive materials on the designed nanostructured electrode
 - Sensing performance of the fabricated sensor
