Integrated Systems Design (ISD) Laboratory, which was established in 2000, is a graduate level research and teaching laboratory in the School of Information and Communication Engineering at Sungkyunkwan University.
Research activities in ISD lab. spans all areas of Integrated systems, both in theoretical and experimental works, including analog/digital integrated circuits for low-power/high-speed applications, VLSI architectures for computers and memories, and high-bandwidth tranceiver architectures for multitap buses and serial/ links. All the members in the lab are pursuing research interests in one of these topics, as well as combinations of techniques and issues from several of these areas.
Graduate students with primary interest in computer architecture, VLSI and CAD are strongly encouraged to join the lab. Because of the interdisciplinary nature of the lab, students from any department can join and work with any research topics for which they qualify.
